Job summary

Cherokee Indian Hospital Authority in Cherokee, NC seeks a Nurse Education Professional Assistant & Simulation Operator to run and maintain healthcare simulation programs. You will operate simulators, manage equipment, and support educators with technology, logistics, and compliance.

Under supervision, you will program scenarios, troubleshoot systems, and assist with LMS records and training materials for a safe, high-quality educational environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a healthcare technology, education technology, or related field is required.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Minimum three years of experience in technical operations, educational technology, or related field.
• Healthcare simulation experience is preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience with Windows-based systems and learning management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-fidelity simulators, task trainers, VR systems, and related equipment.
• Program simulation scenarios under direction of educators.
• Manage simulator software, hardware, networking, and AV systems.
• Support simulation activities through control rooms and debriefing tech.
• Troubleshoot simulator, computer, network, and AV issues during events.
• Maintain simulation databases, libraries, and equipment inventories.
• Assist with moulage, room setup, and logistics for scenarios.
• Provide operational support for mock codes and drills.
• Assist LMS administration and maintain training records.
• Coordinate training materials and educator support for programs.
