Job summary

Prisma Health in Greenville Memorial Hospital seeks an experienced technician to install, operate, and maintain high-technology patient simulators and related equipment. You’ll assist educators, develop simulation activities, and provide technical support to center staff and faculty.

You will troubleshoot simulators, manage AV setups, and coordinate with manufacturers on upgrades, while contributing to simulation research and innovation in healthcare education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Two years of related field experience (nursing, emergency services, or respiratory therapy).
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS preferred; must obtain BLS/ACLS within 1 year.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and operate high-technology patient simulators and related multimedia peripherals.
• Teach technical aspects to center staff and faculty; assist in developing simulation activities.
• Provide instructional tools and support; set up simulators, rooms, and AV components.
• Interface with manufacturers for troubleshooting and upgrades; maintain repair records.
• Perform equipment maintenance and troubleshooting as required.
• Summarize literature and support research efforts in simulation education.
• Generate innovative approaches for technology integration into healthcare education.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
