The role emphasizes hands-on maintenance, program support, and collaboration with nursing and clinical teams to enhance training quality and regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent required with healthcare technology focus.
• Bachelor's degree preferred and relevant certifications considered.
• Minimum three years in technical operations, educational technology, healthcare tech, or AV/information tech; CMA/EMT/Paramedic may be considered with experience.
• Healthcare simulation experience preferred and strong Windows-based systems knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Operates high-fidelity simulators, task trainers, VR, and related educational equipment.
• Programs simulation scenarios under guidance of educators.
• Manages simulator software, hardware, networking, and AV systems.
• Supports simulation activities via control rooms, observation, recording, and debriefing tech.
• Troubleshoots simulators, computers, networks, and AV issues during all stages of events.
• Maintains simulation databases, libraries, assets, and inventory.
• Assists with moulage setup, room prep, and scenario logistics.
• Provides operational support for mock codes, drills, and interprofessional events.
• Ensures safety procedures and program policies are followed.
