Job summary

Onsight Healthcare seeks a dependable Fleet Manager to oversee shuttle vehicle readiness, safety, and maintenance at the Ochsner Medical Center in Louisiana. You will coordinate vendor services, maintain detailed vehicle records, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

The role requires 2–3 years in fleet/transport management, a valid license, and the ability to work a full-time schedule including mornings and evenings. Benefits include health insurance, PTO, uniforms, and more.

Qualifications

• Over the age of 21 years old.
• A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2–3 years of fleet management, transportation, or logistics experience.
• Possesses a valid, in-state, active driver’s license (No temporary licenses or permits accepted.)
• Ability to pass all onboarding screening processes.
• Work a flexible, full-time schedule that includes days, evenings as needed.
• Adequately operate apps/technology on a tablet and learn new software used for daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily fleet operations to ensure all shuttle vehicles are safe, clean, and in proper working order.
• Coordinate vehicle maintenance, inspections, and repairs with approved vendors.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date vehicle maintenance logs and inspection records.
• Perform regular fleet checks to identify and report mechanical or safety issues.
• Schedule preventive maintenance services and ensure timely completion.
• Monitor fuel usage, mileage, and vehicle condition to ensure cost efficiency and compliance.
• Support Site Manager in maintaining fleet‑related operational reports.
• Maintain proper documentation of accidents, incidents, and service requests.
• Ensure all vehicles meet federal, state, and facility safety standards.
• Assist with vehicle assignments and key control systems.
• Track inventory of fuel cards, keys, and safety equipment.
• Coordinate cleaning schedules and ensure presentation standards are met.
• Serve as the liaison between Onsight Healthcare and maintenance vendors.
• Collaborate with Site Manager and hospital facilities staff to ensure readiness for events or increased demand.
• Report major issues, delays, or safety concerns immediately to Site Manager.
• Other duties as assigned
