Job summary

Onsight Healthcare has been contracted to support Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. We are seeking enthusiastic shuttle drivers for a part-time afternoon shift with a $17.50/hour rate.

A valid license is required, CDL not necessary, and prior shuttle or bus experience is preferred. The role focuses on friendly customer service, safe driving, and reliable transportation for hospital staff across shifts.

• Assist colleagues and passengers by remaining friendly and helpful.
• Answer questions about medical offices or department locations.

• Day Shift Hours Monday 5:30am-9:30am
• Day Shift Hours Monday 6:00am-10:00am
• Day Shift Hours Tuesday 5:30am-9:30am
• Day Shift Hours Tuesday 6:00am-10:00am
• Day Shift Hours Wednesday 5:30am-9:30am
• Day Shift Hours Wednesday 6:00am-10:00am
• Day Shift Hours Thurseday 5:30am-9:30am
• Day Shift Hours Thurseday 6:00am-10:00am
• Day Shift Hours Friday 5:30am-9:30am
• Day Shift Hours Friday 6:00am-10:00am

Minimum Requirements

• Over the age of 21 years old
• Eligible to work for any U.S. Employer
• High school Diploma or GED
• Possess a valid active in-state regular driver's license (Permit or Probationary License not accepted )
• At least 1 year of shuttle, bus, or delivery truck driving experience, with a strong, personable, customer-centric background, is required
• Extremely safe driver, familiar with and able to adhere to all major traffic laws
• Maintained a clean driving record for the past 5 years as an active driver
• A CDL License is not required, but is a plus!

Key Responsibilities

When Shuttling employees

• Greet and welcome employees to the healthcare facility
• Answer employees' questions regarding offices or department locations.
• Follows a planned route, making scheduled stops to pick up or drop off employees.
• Daily use of apps/technology to maintain operational efficiency and logistics for the assigned shuttle route
• Complete pre-shift and end-shift safety checks and document any damage or necessary information about the shuttle.

When not shuttle driving

• Greet and welcome employees to the healthcare facility
• Assist in maintaining a clean, welcoming, and professional work environment for your co-workers and passengers
• Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor with all employees and team members
• Answer employees' questions regarding medical offices or department locations.

About You

You have excellent interpersonal skills and a customer-focused mindset. You know how to de-escalate difficult situations and how to keep a calm and composed attitude in a fast-paced environment.

You are well-spoken, professional, and able to uphold an exceptional level of integrity and customer service while working.

You are over the age of 21, possess a valid state driver's license - with a clean driving record, and have the physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift moderate weights while working in an outdoor environment.
