Job summary

Crothall Healthcare, part of Compass Group, is hiring immediately for full-time Shift Supervisor roles at East Jefferson General Hospital in Metairie, LA. The role directs associates during a shift, ensures policy adherence, and may mentor staff while handling time-off requests and performance management.

Responsibilities include training, scheduling, and producing reports to meet quality, safety, and productivity targets; compensation ranges from $17.00 to $22.00 per hour with some weekends

Qualifications

• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to direct shift activities and uphold policy and procedure.

Responsibilities

• Providing training and creating work schedules.
• Evaluating performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet standards.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure unit meets quality, productivity and safety expectations.
• Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
