CentraCare Health in Saint Cloud, MN is seeking a Security Officer to protect patients, staff, and property. Responsibilities include responding to codes, patrolling campuses, and reporting incidents. The role requires security experience, valid licensure, and BLS/EMR readiness. A $2,000 hiring bonus is available with full benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in security, policing, or private security preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff and visitors.
• EMR training/certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record required.
• Certification in ASP baton, handcuffing, VISTELAR, and CEW within 6 months.
• Fingerprints on file per Minnesota statute 326.336.
• AHA BLS Healthcare Provider card required prior to orientation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and protect patients, employees, guests, and property.
• Respond to emergency codes and patrol clinic lots and facilities.
• Conduct routine rounds on high-risk patients and intervene when needed.
• Write daily activity and incident reports.
• Coordinate with responding law enforcement when needed.
• Liaise with security operations at CentraCare Plaza.
