Responsibilities

• Demonstrate Piedmont values and provide excellent customer service to patients, staff and visitors.
• Screen for and interdict weapons entering a facility.
• Maintain security of hospital buildings and parking areas.
• Perform safety routines and emergency security activities.
• Document incidents and investigate as needed.
• Monitor at-risk patients and deescalate difficult situations.
• Respond to aggressive behavior and apply restraints when necessary.
• Document in the medical record and follow PHC policies and laws.
