Securitas USA is seeking a Healthcare Security Officer to join our Danbury, CT team. You will patrol the facility, assist patients and staff, enforce access control, and report incidents to maintain safety.

The role requires a professional demeanor and the ability to work a Thursday–Sunday schedule from 5:30 AM to 1:30 PM. We offer site-specific training, opportunities for growth within Securitas, and a stable 32-hour weekly schedule with a competitive hourly rate of $18.50.

Qualifications

• Prior security, military, law enforcement, or healthcare experience is a plus, but not always required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and respond quickly in emergencies.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to work the set schedule: Thursday–Sunday, 5:30 AM–1:30 PM
• Must meet all local licensing and background requirements

Responsabilités

• Patrol and monitor facility premises to deter and detect security and safety issues
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergency situations in a calm, professional manner
• Assist patients, visitors, and staff with directions and general support
• Enforce facility rules and regulations, including access control and visitor management
• Complete clear and accurate incident and daily activity reports
• Work closely with healthcare staff to support a safe and respectful environment
• Report all health and safety issues and risks in line with Securitas policies and local regulations (Source: Group Health and Safety Policy)
