Tarian Group seeks a Healthcare Security Officer to provide direct security and related public services in a hospital setting in Texas. The role requires maintaining safety for staff, patients, and visitors, and serving as a visible deterrent to illicit activity on hospital property.

A pre-employment background check and drug screen are required, and candidates must be able to obtain relevant licenses. The position involves standing/walking long shifts and may require lifting up to 80 lbs.

Qualifications

• A pre-employment background check and drug screen are required for this position upon receiving a conditional offer of employment.
• Completed High School Diploma or GED
• Must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable licenses or certifications
• Strong vision abilities including color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for an entire work shift, move or lift objects up to 80 lbs., help restrain or lift a person
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet Tarian's company driving guidelines if applicable (for Driving Roles).

Responsibilities

• Our Healthcare Security Officers are responsible for maintaining the security and safety of the hospital, its staff, and its patients and visitors -- and serve as a visible deterrent to illegal activities on hospital property. Our Security Officers also provide supervision for at-risk patients in the hospital environment.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned
