Job summary

Tarian Group is seeking Healthcare Security Officers to provide direct security and related public services in hospital settings. You will help maintain safety for staff, patients, and visitors, serving as a visible deterrent to illegal activities on hospital property.

Work hours vary; the role may require standing, walking, lifting up to 80 lbs, and potential shift flexibility. A pre-employment background check and drug screen apply, with driver’s license required where applicable.

Qualifications

• Pre-employment background check and drug screen required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable licenses or certifications.
• Strong visual abilities including color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for an entire work shift, move or lift objects up to 80 lbs., help restrain or lift a person.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet Tarian driving guidelines if applicable (for Driving Roles).

Responsibilities

• Conduct the following responsibilities upholding Tarian’s commitment to safety and security while supporting the values and culture of the client and community.
• Our Healthcare Security Officers are responsible for maintaining the security and safety of the hospital, its staff, and its patients and visitors and serve as a visible deterrent to illegal activities on hospital property.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
