Job summary

Eastern New Mexico Medical Center is seeking a PRN Security Officer to support the Security department at 405 W Country Club Rd, Roswell, NM. The role requires patrolling facilities, monitoring surveillance, and responding to incidents while delivering excellent patient and staff service.

Critical duties include enforcing safety policies, securing premises after hours, and coordinating with staff and law enforcement as needed.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in security, law enforcement, or related field
• Healthcare/hospital setting experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Patrols facility, clinics, and grounds to deter and detect suspicious activity.
• Assist visitors with directions, questions, and escorts as needed.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and inspect property for security risks.
• Investigate and document suspicious activity, safety concerns, and violations.
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents with appropriate actions.
• Lock doors, windows, and gates after hours and secure access points.
• Direct traffic, enforce parking regulations, and assist with crowd control.
• Collaborate with hospital staff and law enforcement during security events.
• Prepare and maintain incident reports and logs.
