Job summary

Winslow Indian Health Care Center in Dilkon, AZ seeks an Entry-Level Security Guard to protect property and people across WIHCC clinics. You will patrol, monitor access, respond to emergencies, and enforce safety protocols in a patient-centered environment.

The role requires vigilance, good communication, and the ability to work various shifts, including holidays, with required certifications and state drivers license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Six months of related security or military experience preferred.
• AVADE and CPI certifications must be obtained within six months of employment.
• CPR/First Aid certifications within nine months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Patrols area by foot and/or vehicle to check alarms, locks, fences, gates and other barriers to assure security of WIHCC property.
• Monitors access to restricted areas such as Pharmacy, HR, IT, Finance and storage areas.
• Responds to emergency calls for assistance to control disorderly patients, visitors and others.
• Writes and maintains incident reports detailing encounters, complaints and conditions.
• Ensures compliance with confidentiality and security policies; reports suspicious activity to supervisor.
