Greater Baltimore Medical Center (GBMC) seeks a dedicated Security Officer to guard people and property, respond to emergencies, and uphold safety protocols with professionalism. You will enforce GBMC policies, utilize the dispatch system, and support staff and patients in a respectful manner.

Responsibilities include reporting safety concerns, assisting visitors, and maintaining high attendance and appearance standards in a dynamic hospital environment.

Qualificações

• Experience in security, corrections, law enforcement, military or fire/EMS preferred.
• Able to work unscheduled hours as department needs.
• Strong written and verbal communication with diverse personnel and the public.
• Must read and implement GBMC Security policies.
• Complete security training on onboarding and maintain ongoing.
• Proficient with electronic dispatch system for calls and reports.
• Adapt to changing environments and remain calm under stress.
• Maintain punctuality and professional appearance.
• Understand directions and maintain professionalism in stressful situations.
• Strong interpersonal skills with patients, visitors and staff.
• Handle high-volume public environments when assigned.
