Qualifications

• Must have a hospital setting awareness and be able to follow site-specific security procedures.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles per site rules.
• Background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances and parking areas.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional manner and coordinate with responders.
• Monitor access points, report observations, and document incidents and patrols.
• Assist with directions and non-clinical requests to maintain a welcoming environment.
