Blackstone Consulting, Inc. (BCI) seeks a dedicated Healthcare Security Officer to join our healthcare security team in Walnut Creek. This part-time role is based on availability and requires a valid guard card and U.S. work eligibility.

You will patrol, monitor, de‑escalate, and respond to incidents to ensure patient, staff, and visitor safety while upholding BCI standards and benefits.

Qualifikationen

• Be 18+ years of age and eligible to work in the United States.
• Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid government-issued driver’s license.
• Active state-issued guard card.
• Ability to work part-time based on availability.

Aufgaben

• Observe and remain vigilant for signs of crime, hazard, or unusual activity.
• Patrol facilities on foot or bicycle to check for unsafe conditions and violations.
• De-escalate individuals verbally or physically as needed.
• Inspect security devices and fire control equipment.
• Screen visitors and employees to aid rapid admission while maintaining safety.
• Respond to emergencies (fire, medical, bomb threats, inclement weather) with calm urgency.
• Prepare logs and investigative reports in a clear, interpretable format.
