Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 20 years old with a valid Michigan driver's license.
• State MI driver license upon hire; CPR/First Aid certifications required (AHA/ARC).
• Basic Life Support certifications required (AHA or ARC) within 180 days.

Responsibilities

• Maintains highly visible foot and vehicle patrols to deter incidents.
• Documents incident reports and other required documents in a timely manner.
• Assists with directions, access control, and escorts; provides security to secured areas.
• Communicates with patients, visitors, and health care staff; de-escalates conflicts as needed.
• Responds to emergencies and investigates suspicious or criminal events.
