Blackstone Consulting, Inc. (BCI) seeks a dedicated Healthcare Security Officer to support a leading healthcare provider. You will protect staff and patients, monitor for hazards, and deter threats while promoting compassionate care.

On a typical day you’ll patrol, respond to emergencies, document incidents, de-escalate conflicts, and collaborate with hospital teams to ensure safety and service excellence. This role requires 18+, valid guard card, and the legal right to work in the United

Qualifications

• Security basics and healthcare security functions.
• Ability to identify, educate, manage, and report security risks.
• Clear communication across stakeholder groups and departments.
• Maintain professional behavior responsive to client needs.
• Leadership to motivate and influence others.

Responsibilities

• Observe for signs of crime, disorder, or hazards and remain vigilant.
• Patrol on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to check conditions and access.
• De-escalate individuals verbally and physically when needed.
• Inspect security devices and fire control equipment.
• Screen visitors and staff to expedite admittance to the facility.
• Respond to emergencies with calm urgency and proper procedure.
• Prepare logs and reports that are easy to interpret for supervisors.
• Read and interpret police reports, laws, and procedures.
• Maintain Lost and Found logs per departmental policies.
• Ensure property removal complies with client standards.
