Job summary

Blackstone Consulting, Inc. (BCI) is seeking a dedicated Healthcare Security Officer to join our healthcare security team serving a leading healthcare provider. You’ll contribute to safety, patient care, and security operations while maintaining compassionate service and professional conduct.

You will operate in a fast-paced healthcare environment, adapt to changing conditions, and participate in training and career development opportunities offered by BCI.

Qualifications

• Be 18 years of age and possess a high school diploma or GED
• Have a reliable and functional means of communication (i.e., cell phone)
• The legal right to work in the United States
• Possess a valid government-issued driver’s license
• Active state-issued guard card

Responsibilities

• Observing and remaining vigilant for signs of crime, disorder, hazard, and unusual activity
• Patrolling on foot, bicycle, or via a vehicle to check for unsafe conditions, blocked entryways, security violations, mechanical problems, and unauthorized individuals
• Verbally and physically de-escalating individuals, as needed
• Inspecting all security devices and fire control equipment
• Screening members, visitors, and client employees to expedite their admittance to the facility
