Job summary

Tarian is seeking a Healthcare Security Officer to provide direct security and related public services at hospital sites. This role requires strong vigilance and the ability to act as a visible deterrent to harmful activity while supporting patient and staff safety.

Responsibilities include maintaining security, supervising at-risk patients, and performing other job-related duties as assigned. A pre-employment background check and drug screen are required, along with a valid Security Guard

Qualifications

• Pre-employment background check and drug screen required after conditional offer.
• High school diploma or GED required; licenses/certifications must be maintained.
• Ability to stand/walk entire shifts and lift up to 80 lbs is needed.
• Valid Security Guard License is required for the role.

Responsibilities

• Maintain security and safety of hospital staff, patients and visitors.
• Provide supervision for at-risk patients and deter illegal activities on site.

Education

Completed High School Diploma or GED

Must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable licenses or certifications

Valid driver’s license

Valid Security Guard License
