Job summary

Tarian is seeking Healthcare Security Officers to support safety and security operations across hospital sites, protecting staff, patients and visitors while deterring illicit activity. You will perform patrols, monitor access points, and assist as needed to maintain a secure environment.

Candidates must pass a background check, be able to stand/walk for long shifts, and meet licensing requirements. A comprehensive benefits package accompanies full-time and part-time roles.

Qualifications

• A pre-employment background check and drug screen are required for this position.
• Completed High School Diploma or GED and ability to obtain licenses/certifications.
• Strong vision abilities including color, peripheral vision, depth perception and focus adjustment.
• Must stand/walk for long shifts and lift up to 80 lbs; valid driver's license if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hospital security and safety for staff, patients, and visitors.
• Serve as a visible deterrent to unlawful activities on hospital property.
• Provide supervision for at-risk patients as needed.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
