Job summary

Blackstone Consulting, Inc. (BCI) seeks a dedicated Healthcare Security Officer to join a leading healthcare provider in Anaheim, CA. This role protects staff and patients, maintains safety, and supports care delivery within a fast-paced hospital environment.

You will patrol, de-escalate incidents, and coordinate with healthcare teams to ensure security and patient well-being while complying with policy and training requirements.

Qualifications

• Be 18+ years old with a high school diploma or GED
• The legal right to work in the United States; valid driver’s license; active state-issued guard card

Responsibilities

• Observe and remain vigilant for signs of crime, disorder, hazards, or unusual activity
• Patrol on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to check for unsafe conditions and unauthorized individuals
• Verbally and physically de-escalate individuals as needed
• Inspect security devices and fire control equipment
• Screen members, visitors, and client employees to expedite admittance to the facility
• Respond to incidents (fire, medical, bomb threats, floods, elevator emergencies) with calm urgency
• Prepare logs and investigative reports with clear, interpretable information
