CHS Career Site is seeking a part-time Security Officer to help ensure the safety of patients, staff, visitors, and property. The role involves patrolling facilities, monitoring surveillance systems, and responding to security incidents while delivering strong customer service and enforcing safety policies.

The position emphasizes visibility, prompt incident reporting, and collaboration with hospital personnel.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in security, law enforcement, or related field required.
• Healthcare or hospital setting experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Patrols all areas of the facility, clinics, and surrounding grounds to deter and detect unauthorized or suspicious activity.
• Provides assistance to visitors, including directions, questions, and escorts.
• Monitors surveillance cameras and inspects property for risks.
• Investigates and documents reports of security concerns and incidents.
• Responds to alarms, emergencies, and incidents and takes safe action.
• Secures property by locking doors, windows, and gates after hours.
• Directs traffic, enforces parking regulations, and assists with crowd control during events.
• Collaborates with hospital staff and law enforcement in security situations.
• Completes and maintains incident reports, logs, and related documentation.
• Performs other duties as assigned and maintains regular attendance.
