Job summary

Bingham Healthcare is seeking motivated Security Officers to help maintain a safe and welcoming environment across its Southeast Idaho facilities. You will protect patients, staff, and assets while coordinating transportation and courier tasks between sites.

Ideal candidates are calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and strong communicators who work well in a fast-paced healthcare setting and with diverse teams. Training in BLS, crisis intervention, and defensive tactics is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS and crisis intervention training preferred.
• Defensive tactics and retention holds certifications are required or preferred for the role.

Responsibilities

• Support hospital security and loss prevention programs.
• Protect patients, visitors, employees and assets.
• Assist with personnel protection and maintaining a secure environment.
• Monitor access and key control, and support emergency preparedness.
• Provide parking and traffic control as needed.
• Provide patient transportation and courier services between facilities.
