Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Access Control Patrol in Birmingham, AL. You will patrol healthcare facilities, deter incidents, and support access control while delivering excellent customer service to patients and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Guard card/license preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge processes preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional manner and follow site protocols.
• Conduct regular patrols of healthcare facility buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and assist with directions and wayfinding; report unusual activity.
• Complete required reports and logs; communicate observations to leadership and site contacts.
