Job summary

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in security or law enforcement (Healthcare preferred).
• Valid CT Driver's License.
• CT Certification as a Licensed Security Officer or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• First Aid, CPR-AED and CPI certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients, staff and visitors.
• Evaluate threats and respond to emergencies with appropriate escalation.
• Document safety and security events in incident reporting systems.
• Monitor cameras and conduct periodic patrols of buildings and grounds.
• Assist with communications and dispatching; manage visitor access and badges.
• Perform vehicle checks, door security, and parking policy enforcement.
