Job summary

Northern Light Health's Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, ME is seeking a Manager of Security to lead security operations for the medical center and affiliated facilities. The role reports to the System Director of Security and oversees a team of security staff, ensuring safety for patients, staff and visitors while driving incident response and compliance.

The position is full-time, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a salary range of $35.92–$55.13 per hour.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of supervisory security experience.
• Experience leading security operations and personnel.
• Knowledge of applicable laws and security practices.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Budgeting and administrative reporting experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee the NL-EMMC hybrid Security Force.
• Manage staff assignments, work schedules, and overtime.
• Oversee training and certification of security staff.
• Assist in policy and procedure implementation for Security and Workplace Violence Prevention.
• Prepare detailed reports and audits.
• Develop relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
