Job summary

aah is seeking a full-time Security Officer for a health care campus in Wisconsin. The role requires maintaining safety, conducting patrols, and enforcing rules with professionalism and empathy toward patients, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities include responding to emergencies, de-escalating conflicts, and preparing detailed incident reports while coordinating with local law enforcement and the safety team. Training and certifications are part of the onboarding process.

Qualifications

• CHSO certification must be obtained within two years of appointment.
• Must have valid driver's license.
• Experience in security, public safety, or customer service with emergent situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional security services and maintain a service-oriented appearance.
• Perform interior and exterior patrols, identify hazards and ensure safety.
• Assist patients, visitors, and staff with information and directions.
• Control traffic, monitor visitors, and question unauthorized persons as needed.
• Investigate workplace violence and respond to emergencies and threats.
• Document incidents with timely reports and coordinate with leadership.
