Job summary

Allied Universal in Nashville, TN is seeking a Security Officer Medical Security Driver Full Time to protect patients, visitors and staff. This driving role requires a valid license and provides security in a hospital setting.

You will patrol facilities, monitor access, respond to incidents, and maintain high service standards while ensuring safety and compliance in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of security‑related experience.
• Must meet hospital vaccinations requirements.
• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly and assist with medical emergencies or security concerns.
• Conduct regular patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, and entrances to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management per site rules.
• Document incidents and communicate findings to leadership and emergency personnel.
