Job summary

MultiCare Health System is seeking a Director of Security to lead the design, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive security programs across the system. You will guide embedded security leaders in a matrixed organization, driving strategic initiatives and ensuring safety and regulatory readiness.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 8 years of security experience (5 in management), and a Washington driver’s license with a clean record.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field required (security, law enforcement).
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Eight (8) years of progressive professional/technical experience in security field.
• Five (5) years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
• Current Washington State Driver’s License with safe driving record.
• Certified Healthcare Protection Administrator or other security certification preferred.
• Active member in IAHS or ASIS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the development, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive Security programs.
• Provide leadership to embedded Security leaders across the system.
• Establish strategies, metrics, and SLAs; ensure regulatory readiness and compliance.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in related field (security, law enforcement)
