Job summary

Lex Women's Care-West Columbia in West Columbia, SC is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator-PN for a full-time Day Shift (Mon-Thu 8-5, Fri 8-1). You will manage appointment scheduling, load new schedules in Epic, and coordinate provider calendars to keep the department running smoothly.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, up to 6 months scheduling experience in a healthcare setting, and familiarity with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• At least 6 months scheduling experience in a healthcare setting.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) and medical terminology is required.
• 6-month training/probationary period to demonstrate proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee appointment scheduling for one or more providers.
• Manage workflow of all scheduling procedures including pre-registration, schedule loading, and notifications of changes.
• Load new schedule templates and coordinate provider calendars.
• Assist and train coworkers on scheduling processes.
• Perform schedule accuracy audits and provide ongoing support to the team.
