Job summary

Lexington Health is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator-PN to manage scheduling for one or more providers in the West Columbia area. You will load new appointment templates, update changes, and coordinate provider calendars to maintain smooth clinic flow and timely patient access.

You will greet patients, answer calls, and support the office with clerical tasks while training other staff on scheduling processes and best practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6 months scheduling experience in a healthcare setting.
• Experience with medical terminology and CRT in a physician practice setting; familiarity with Epic-based order entry is a plus.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
• 6 month training/probationary period to demonstrate proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee appointment scheduling for one or more providers.
• Load new schedules and changes; coordinate provider schedules.
• Greet patients and assist with questions; answer calls and transfer as needed.
• Serve as designated trainer for appointment scheduling activities.
• Perform schedule accuracy audits and ensure workflow across front office tasks.
