Job summary

ASHFORD CONNEX, LLC is seeking a Healthcare Sales Specialist for a hybrid role in the San Jose–Sacramento–Fresno region. The position focuses on outreach, enrollment growth, and relationships with community partners to drive referrals and awareness of senior health services.

The role requires a marketing or health care administration background, sales experience, and familiarity with healthcare networks. A strong community presence and collaborative approach are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or health care administration preferred.
• DHCS training and exam as a marketing representative within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a sales and marketing role with at least one year in a healthcare or senior care setting preferred.
• Technology experience which can include Salesforce, Athena, etc.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and initiate outreach and engagement activities in communities.
• Identify opportunities to collaborate with community organizations.
• Establish and maintain relationships with community leaders and partners.
• Contact senior centers, assisted living facilities, food banks, and churches.
• Develop and implement monthly marketing plans to consistently achieve goals.
• Provide education regarding services to community referral sources.

Healthcare Sales Specialist-San Jose-Sacramento-Fresno

Our client provides life-extending health care to our most vulnerable seniors. Through our innovation of care, they serve as both the health plan and the provider, allowing participants to live safely in their homes rather than moving into skilled nursing facilities.

The Healthcare Sales Specialist plays a critical role in our Marketing, Outreach, & Enrollment team. This role is the driver of enrollment success — building relationships in the community, generating quality referrals, and guiding prospective participants into the program.
