Job summary

Malvern Treatment Centers seeks a full-time Safety Technician to safeguard the facility in Philadelphia. The role involves greeting patients, directing calls, and coordinating with emergency services to maintain a secure campus and smooth patient flow.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma (Bachelor's degree preferred) and experience in healthcare security, with strong interpersonal and de-escalation skills. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent. Previous experience working in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Previous experience as a security guard also preferred.
• Technical/Computer Skills: Microsoft Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manages calls to the site and directs them appropriately.
• Greets patients and visitors and facilitates communication for patient/visitor flow.
• Liaison between facility and community/emergency services.
• Collects insurance and identification cards and assists with admitting paperwork.
• Promotes safety and well-being of all patients and conducts environmental rounding.
