Job summary

Malvern Treatment Centers in Philadelphia is seeking a Safety Technician to join our campus, ensuring safety and security for clients, visitors and staff while coordinating with other teams to maintain a secure environment.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma (Bachelor's preferred) and healthcare security experience, with strong communication skills. The role includes a varied schedule with weekend coverage and full benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare security or similar settings preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work a varied schedule including weekends.
• Capacity to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Manage calls to the site and direct them appropriately.
• Greet patients and visitors and facilitate communication for flow.
• Conduct wanding for contraband for entrants to the building.
• Liaison with facility and community/emergency services.
• Collect and assist with initial admitting paperwork including insurance forms.
• Maintain safety and security on campus and respond to incidents.
