Job summary

Qualifications

• GED or HS diploma required.
• No experience required; 2 years in general security or public safety preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment psychological screening.
• Must pass and maintain all training certifications (Taser, ASP Baton, Mental Health First Aid, etc.).
• Georgia POST certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• First responder to emergency incidents within the assigned facility.
• Safeguard students, employees, visitors, patients, and property.
• De-escalate critical events using sound judgment when engaging with combative or escalating subjects.
