Job summary

Northwell Health in Melville, NY seeks a Manager of Software Development within the Robotic Process Automation Center of Excellence to lead cross-functional teams and drive enterprise automation initiatives across the lifecycle.

This role requires strong UiPath expertise, governance experience, and the ability to align automation with clinical, revenue-cycle and administrative workflows while partnering with stakeholders, vendors, and enterprise partners.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
6-8 years of relevant experience and 2-5 years of leadership / management experience, required.

Responsibilities

Provides leadership to Software Development, Engineering and Services team members and supervisors by communicating and guiding designing, building, testing, deploying, maintaining, and supporting applications or the health systems software, which may include web or mobile applications.
Develops and builds consensus for goals in alignment with the health system.
Establishes functional requirements and reviews solutions to ensure organizational needs are met.
Works with the technical teams to analyze acquisition requirements.
Advises all levels of staff and management regarding contract terms and conditions, applicable policies and procedures, and best practices to advance IT department business objectives.
Oversees implementation of one or more software development methodologies.
Responds to inquiries regarding contract obligations; advises project leaders regarding contractual issues; works with vendors and organization teams to understand and resolve contractual issues.
Collaborates with stakeholder departments throughout negotiation to facilitate contract implementation.
Monitors active contracts and helps IT staff with ensuring contractual commitments are understood and met.
