Acadia Healthcare is seeking an experienced Risk Director to lead the facility's risk management program, investigating incidents and collaborating with Legal to assess liability. The role focuses on patient safety, regulatory compliance, and proactive risk mitigation across departments.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field, 2+ years in risk management, and supervisory experience. Master’s is preferred and CPR/de-escalation certification is noted as beneficial.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in clinical healthcare, risk management, business, finance, or related field.
• Two or more years’ experience in a risk management position required.
• One or more years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with CARF, DEA, Joint Commission, or CMS surveys as required by service lines.

Responsabilités

• Implement a robust risk management program throughout the facility.
• Collaborate with corporate risk management and lead investigations into incidents.
• Develop infrastructures and systems to support patient safety and incident reporting.
• Promote a culture of safety and train staff on risk identification and mitigation.
• Coordinate with leadership to align with policies, laws, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead the Safe Catch Program and conduct root cause analyses with QAPI disciplines.
