Amenity Health Services in Houston is seeking a Revenue Cycle Specialist to oversee the payment posting process and ensure accurate application of payments and adjustments to patient accounts. This full-time on-site role involves posting payments, reconciling batches, and providing management with payment trend insights.

Candidates should have an associate's degree or equivalent experience and strong customer service skills.

Formación

• Associate's degree or equivalent in accounting/finance or related field.
• One to three months related experience or training accepted.
• Experience with medical billing procedures and terminology.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsabilidades

• Accurately post payments and adjustments to patient accounts, including insurance and patient payments.
• Bill therapy visits timely and accurately.
• Ensure transactions are recorded in the electronic health record and billing systems.
• Perform reconciliation of payment batches and account balances.
• Identify discrepancies between posted payments and expected amounts.
• Maintain accurate and organized records and financial summaries.
• Provide insights on payment trends, discrepancies, and collections performance to management.
• Maintain documentation of payment postings and related records.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in the payment posting workflow.
