Job summary

Page Mechanical Group, Inc. is seeking a Healthcare Data & Billing Coordinator to collect, validate, and organize patient census and clinical documentation from multiple EMR systems to support accurate billing and revenue cycle operations.

You will liaise with providers and billing staff, ensure documentation is complete before claim preparation, and generate routine census reports while maintaining HIPAA compliance and strong data integrity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of healthcare administrative, medical office, revenue cycle, or medical records experience.
• Experience navigating electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve daily census reports from multiple EMR systems across facilities.
• Verify patient census data for accuracy and completeness.
• Collect and organize provider documentation and billing support documents.
• Track outstanding logs and follow up to ensure timely submission.
• Compare documentation against census to identify discrepancies.
• Maintain spreadsheets and internal databases for billing and reporting.
• Communicate with providers and staff regarding missing documentation.
• Assist billing by ensuring documentation is complete prior to claim preparation.
• Generate routine operational and census reports for leadership.
• Identify trends and opportunities for process improvement.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and compliance with policies.
• Perform additional data management duties as assigned.
