Job summary

Unified Women's Healthcare is seeking a Revenue Cycle Specialist to resolve claim issues, manage A/R denials, and address payment variances across our nationwide network of clinics. You will communicate with practices and payers to resolve discrepancies and support timely reimbursement.

The role emphasizes collaboration with internal teams, utilization of practice management systems, and adherence to billing guidelines to ensure accurate, compliant claims processing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years current experience interpreting insurance explanation of benefits.
• Minimum 2 years current experience working with medical claims, billing and collections; OB/GYN preferred.
• Experience with healthcare practice management systems (Athenanet preferred).
• Experience with cloud-based CRM technology (Salesforce preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Excel required.

Responsibilities

• Resolve Accounts Receivable and Collections.
• Review, Follow Up, and Appeal denied claims according to standards.
• Determine accuracy of Insurance payments and follow up on discrepancies.
• Initiate, Follow Up, and Respond on payer reimbursement issues.
• Communicate with Practices and Payers regarding claim denials and payer trends.
• Analysis and Quality Review of work completed by third parties.
• Build and generate reports, as needed.
