Job summary

Netsmart is seeking a senior healthcare IT consultant in the United States to design and lead revenue cycle optimization projects for healthcare providers, translating requirements into scalable workflows and solutions across systems. You will partner with clients to understand operational, billing, reimbursement, and compliance needs, then guide implementation and adoption end-to-end.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of health care information technology implementation or consulting experience.
• 2+ years of Electronic Health Record solution work experience.
• 1+ year of project management experience.
• Ability to communicate with technical, clinical and operational stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize revenue cycle workflows, including claims, reimbursement, AR, and financial operations.
• Advise clients on healthcare financial best practices, workflow optimization, and solution adoption.
• Translate business needs into functional designs across systems, data, and workflows.
• Lead client workshops and guide workflow design, system changes, and ongoing maintenance.
• Configure solutions to align with standards and regulatory requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across implementation, testing, and operations.
• Manage client relationships and expectations to support engagement outcomes.
• Document workflow designs, best practices, and solution standards.
• Validate configurations using AI-supported checks to ensure compliance.
