Job summary

Northfield Hospital + Clinics is seeking a Revenue Cycle Analyst to support compliance and revenue optimization across clinical, front-end, mid-cycle, and back-end workflows. You will perform quantitative analyses to drive increased revenues, reduced costs, and faster cash flow, while improving operational efficiency.

The role emphasizes collaboration with departments, audit procedures, and data-driven insights to maximize reimbursement and maintain regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance or 5+ years of healthcare Revenue Cycle experience.
• Minimum 2-3 years’ strong financial and data analysis experience with data extraction from relational databases.
• High level of analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Expert level skills in Excel and Access.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Senior Revenue Cycle Analyst and other departments to improve revenue capture.
• Research and improve denial management with reports and education for changes.
• Collect data and apply audit procedures to test charge systems and procedures.
• Review back-end processes from intake to collection to maximize cash collections and profitability.
• Learn and apply improvement methodologies and share successful innovations.
• Maintain relationships with departments to educate revenue managers and directors.
