Job summary

Springfield Clinic is seeking a Revenue Cycle Transformation Specialist to lead process improvements across billing, coding, patient access and related workflows. You will analyze data, develop project plans, and coordinate teams to drive efficiencies while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

You will report to the Revenue Cycle leadership and work with IT, finance, and clinical staff to track KPIs, resolve issues, and provide training on new processes.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to analyze data and identify trends
• Experience documenting processes and workflows is preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Confidentiality and HIPAA awareness required
• Strong MS Excel skills are required

Responsibilities

• Coordinate revenue cycle improvement projects across multiple departments (billing, coding, patient access, etc.).
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
• Track progress and prepare status reports for leadership.
• Facilitate meetings, document action items, and follow up on tasks.
• Analyze revenue cycle data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
• Assist in implementing new systems, workflows, and process enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and payer requirements.
• Collaborate with IT, finance, and clinical teams to support project goals.
• Tracks project progress, identifies bottlenecks, manages risks, and reports status to leadership.
• Maintains project documentation, schedules meetings, prepares agendas, and handles related paperwork.
• Comply with Springfield Clinic incident reporting policy and procedures.
• Adhere to all OSHA and Springfield Clinic training & accomplishments as required per policy.
• Provide excellent customer service and adhere to Springfield Clinic's Code of Conduct and Ethics Standards.
• Perform other job duties as assigned.
