Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is seeking a Retail Food Service Manager with a strong front‑of‑house background. Ideal candidates come from higher‑end fast casual or high‑volume retail dining environments and have exposure to catering operations.

You will lead guest engagement and ensure polished service while maintaining Health Department compliance. The role emphasizes staff training, performance development, and delivering exceptional guest experiences in healthcare retail

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of retail foodservice operational management experience.
• Experience in fast casual dining, restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, healthcare, or similar foodservice environments.
• Front‑of‑house leadership experience in a high‑volume setting strongly preferred.
• Retail marketing experience is preferred.
• Experience with cash‑based retail operations and financial controls.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and general computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day retail foodservice operations to ensure smooth, efficient service.
• Lead front‑of‑house teams, ensuring high‑quality customer interactions and service standards.
• Plan and supervise special functions and promotional or marketing‑driven events.
• Manage cash handling procedures, cash controls, and payroll documentation.
• Participate in recruiting, hiring, training, and developing frontline team members.
• Ensure compliance with client expectations, Health Department guidelines, and company policies.
• Complete all required daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
• Support retail marketing initiatives to increase sales, customer engagement, and satisfaction.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
