Job summary

Plante Moran in Cleveland or Columbus, Ohio, is seeking a Senior Consultant to lead engagements in post-acute healthcare reimbursement and financial performance. You will guide Medicare/Medicaid cost reporting, assess data, and deliver strategic advisory services to healthcare providers.

You will mentor staff, build client relationships, and contribute to practice growth, with travel expected (10–15%). This role is based in-office in the Cleveland/Columbus area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• Five or more years of experience in post-acute healthcare reimbursement, including Medicare and Medicaid cost reporting.
• Strong accounting and financial analysis skills with ability to identify trends and opportunities.
• Proficiency with financial reporting systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage consulting engagements focused on post-acute healthcare reimbursement, financial performance, and accounting-related services.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement matters.
• Prepare, review, and analyze SNF, Home Health, and Hospice Medicare/Medicaid cost reports.
• Analyze financial, reimbursement, and operational data to identify opportunities for revenue optimization and cost management.
• Supervise and mentor consulting staff and contribute to business development.
