CHS Career Site is seeking a data-focused analyst to support Director-level teams in reimbursement and financial modeling. The role centers on retrieving data, building models, and evaluating contracting proposals to drive informed decisions.

The candidate will communicate findings clearly in writing and verbally, collaborate with health care professionals, and manage multiple projects independently in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years’ experience in hospital, physician, or health plan financial analysis.
• Proficiency with reimbursement terminology (DRG, APC, HCPCS, CPT).
• Experience with hospital/physician billing and coding terminology.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Retrieves reimbursement data from hospital and physician systems.
• Builds financial models to analyze reimbursement proposals.
• Interprets contracts with contracting directors to ensure model accuracy.
• Produces concise written reports of payment modeling analysis.
• QA monthly data loads.
• Completes special projects as needed.
