Job summary

Community Health Systems, Inc. is seeking a Financial Analyst to provide data retrieval, contract modeling, and financial analysis support to Directors and Managed Care Regional Contracting Directors.

The role will involve gathering reimbursement data and building models to assess the financial impact of hospital and physician payer proposals. You will work with the Managed Care teams to interpret contracts, produce concise reports, and QA monthly data loads.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of work experience in healthcare financial analysis.
• Familiar with hospital, physician or health plan financial analysis.
• Knowledge of reimbursement methodologies and terminology.

Responsibilities

• Retrieves reimbursement data from hospital and physician accounting systems.
• Builds financial models to analyze reimbursement impact of payer proposals.
• Collaborates on contract interpretation to ensure model accuracy.
• Produces written reports summarizing payment modeling analysis.
• QA monthly data loads.
• Completes special projects/reports as needed
