Job summary

Highmark Inc. is offering a Summer 2027 Reimbursement Analyst Undergraduate Internship within the Professional Provider Reimbursement Operations (PPRO) team. The program provides hands-on experience in data operations, reimbursement processes, master data management, analytics, and business analysis.

Interns will work with SMEs and leaders to develop documentation, support reporting initiatives, and explore opportunities for operational efficiencies across multiple systems and processes.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in one of the specified business or technical disciplines.
• Good academic standing and enrollment in an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day reimbursement operations and data research.
• Assist with reporting and documentation activities.
• Map and evaluate business processes for opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Support technical and process documentation efforts.
• Participate in projects and initiatives and provide recommendations for action.
• Engage in cross-functional collaboration with SMEs, data professionals, and leaders.
• Develop practical analytical, technical, and communication skills during the internship.
