Job summary

Chapters Health System in Maryland is seeking an Account Development Liaison to grow referrals and strengthen relationships with hospital and physician networks. You will educate, market, and support referral sources to ensure timely access to services across our service area.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience), healthcare sales background, excellent communication, public speaking, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred or equivalent education/experience.
• Minimum of two years of professional medical sales experience preferred; healthcare background considered.
• Ability to promote all service lines with referral sources in competitive areas.
• Proficient with Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other job-related software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong public speaking skills.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and car insurance per policy; mobile to travel.
• Willingness to travel throughout the service area.
• Strong time management and ability to manage contacts for outcomes.
• Ability to analyze, plan, and execute sales activities for referrals.
• Ability to work independently with discretion and judgment.
• Self-motivated and resourceful.

Responsibilities

• Cultivates, expands, and maintains relationships with referral sources (hospitals, physicians, SNFs, home health, etc.).
• Maintains professional presence in the healthcare community and meets admission goals; 90% customer-facing time.
• Manages territory data, CRM documentation, and quarterly sales planning.
• Develops data-driven plans to drive admissions and program growth.
• Creates call rotations and averages 50+ sales calls per week.
• Develops new referral sources within the territory and provides ongoing education to sources.
• Represents the organization professionally and aligns activities with program goals.
• Provides consistent communication with the Director of Business Development.
